This is a guide to the current roleplay characters on the forum as well as the place to submit your new character.
I don't want people to be intimidated by having to come up with a lot of character details upfront, so you may use either of these templates. You're also welcome to add whatever you'd like.
Edit: Please check the rules thread FIRST. Make sure your character is an 'animal crossing themed' character. For clarification, i've amended a description next to each bio feature on what's allowed.
Detailed bio
Name: No requirements.
Species: Sub-species of the series are allowed such as lambs and cubs, variations of animals not seen in the series such as lioness, pangolin, snakes etc are allowed within reason. An animal which doesn't exist isn't allowed for the reason that it isn't believable in the animal crossing universe.
Appearance: No requirements.
Gender: No requirements.
Occupation: Anything is allowed as long as it fits in the ac universe, for example an artist or or botanist is fine because you can imagine those people working in an animal crossing town but something like a cleric, warrior wouldn't fit because there is no battles/fighting in animal crossing.
Personality: No requirements.
Background: Your character can go on hiatus back to a homeland or city which wouldn't normally fit into the ac series, however roleplaying from such locations isn't allowed. For example, a wolfcub can come from a wooden house in a distant forest away from town and goes back home frequently but you can't start writing a story about events from that location as if your character is living there now.
Your character is allowed to talk about their past or homeland even if it's from another world as long as the story doesn't become fixed around that. This is an animal crossing roleplay and all said locations should be related to the series, caves, the town, marketstreet, island, beach etc...You can be imaginative making the town forest seem much bigger than it is, come up secret gardens and springs but saying there's a portal to hell would never be believable and breaks the immersion.
Skills/flaws: Can be traits such as watering flowers, hard worker, overly polite to over villagers. The villagers in the series do live their lives so you can have things like cooking, book reading etc even though it's not shown directly in the series because villagers mention this in the game.
Likes/dislikes: No requirements.
Other: Anything extra.
