I really hope we're not disappointed. There's a lot of potential with an AC mobile game, but you never know what it might be.

Nothing will be like the wait for New Leaf, honestly. But this one was also a similarly frustrating wait. They always do quality work when they make us wait, but I feel like they also make the community feel like they're dropping the ball so they can announce more Mario.

I know what you mean, imagine if we waited and then it was still crap lol I don't remember the new leaf wait tbh. I was at uni so I think i was too stressed out to think of anything else lol I rememebr the 2 weeks before it was released i wanted it early and found an ebay listing that i thought would get it me early...but it didnt and i ended up returning it and buying it from the store on the day lol

With New Leaf they announced it like... Three years before it actually came out and they just wouldn't say anything about it except maybe once every 15 months. And then it finally released and it was wonderful, but it was super frustrating at the time, because they wouldn't even really tell us how it's going. So every E3/Nintendo Direct we just sat there wondering if it was ever coming.

I kinda remember that, when they first announced it, it was agggesss ago. They've done the opposite now and not announced any new ac until its almost ready. I just a proper ac switch is in the works. Do you ever wonder if ac will get stale? I dont just want a new leaf clone on the switch like ac wii was to ac ds.

I don't agree that any of the titles have been clones, honestly. But I don't know that they can get stale if they continue to listen to the things we want. They're giving us a fishing net which is a really cool feature that hasn't been asked for a lot, but has been asked for, so that in conjunction with the features they've been toying with in New Leaf title updates and in spin-off games gives me hope that the interaction and environment in the newer titles can only be that much more enticing.
