I'm personally very excited for it. I've only played Blue Rescue Team and Explorers of Sky, and loved them both. Gates of Infinity didn't seem that great, so I skipped out on that one. From what I've seen of SMD, it looks like a big improvement. I have heard that it's a lot more difficult than previous installments, but hopefully it's not too bad.

I haven't gotten it yet. I might not for some time, but I want to at some point. My coworker has it. She says it's possible to be like...20 different pokemon? Kinda cool. I wanna see some play time of it before I commit myself to buying yet another game.
Right now I am in the throes of Kirby Triple Deluxe, Story of Seasons, and Yo-Kai Watch. I still need to play Phoenix Wright and finish Omega Ruby (I am about half way done).

Yeah, you can be every starter ever, as well as a handful of others. It's so nice to meet another Harvest Moon player! I've been playing Story of Seasons 3DS for a while, and I think it's a great installment.

Oh indeed! It gets back to the Harvest Moon I remember falling in love with. I would be interested to see the latest American Harvest Moon that came out for 3DS but I need to budget wisely. XD

I'm pretty sure that Story of Seasons is the most recent in the series...unless you're counting The Lost Valley, which isn't by Marvelous Entertainment.

Well there was that whole legal hang up with XSeed and the Japanese creators of the game. Story of Seasons IS a Harvest Moon game, just not an American Harvest Moon game. The newest American Harvest Moon I have heard is very MineCraft-esque. Anyway how'd we get here?
How's that new mystery dungeon? Is the story any different?

Yeah, I know. I haven't played it, but it looks pretty...meh. Maybe I'll make a separate thread for Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon eventually. I think the new Mystery Dungeon is the typical "you wake up as a Pokemon" thing. But I've heard that you go to school or something?

While I'm a little disappointed that except for the starters only Pikachu and Riolu are available (I really miss Cubone, Meowth, Vulpix, Shinx...), I'm really excited for the game! I only own Explorers of Time myself and only played the demo of Gates to Infinity, but unlike the former one, this one seems to be better again! Too bad Europe has to wait 'til February. D; I'm thinking about picking Snivy for myself and Charmander as my partner. I thought about going with Fennekin, but two fire types is a bad idea. Might go for Treecko lastminute. I'm not too sure yet. Anyone else already having an idea for their team? Or if anyone has the game already, what did you pick? c:

I was also disappointed that there aren't as many non-starter options, but I suppose they had to make room. For my main character, I usually just go with whatever the game picks. For my partner, I want either Fennekin or Chikorita.

I didn't know that starter thing... I guess I'm not too well-informed about the game. I'd like to get it, there's a big empty space inside of me since I played Explorers of Sky, but I won't be able to for a while. Gotta stick to my budget.
