Has anyone played dragonage inquisition? I'm playing it on ps4 right now. Imagine Skyrim but the world is seperated into areas that have loading screens, and the story is alot more involved (sorry skyrim). I'm really getting into it lately. The world is a large expanse to explore and encourages you to do so by rewarding you exp from reading, finding landmarks, getting letters, fulfilling quests etc The world looks amazing, and the characters have really grown. There's a massive amount of voice acting, more than i've ever seen before for a WRPG and it's all varied. I've been busy romancing the character iron bull XD This is my first time to playing and i've discovered you can forge a relationship with a character through dialogue options.
I do have some criticisms though. The menu (albeit I hear is better than it's past predecessors) is rather clunky. In order to craft a better weapon or armor you must first go into the item menu and 'remember' how good it is e.g: defense 141. Then you have to back out and go into the crafting menu and check if it's better. You need to back out and in for every character as you can't remember everything at once and it doesn't show your current gear whilst crafting. I found it a huge learning curve to even understand the menu and it's not explained very well either. In fact, this single handedly stopped me playing for a long time. I am glad i've put the time back into it now though. If anyone loves western rpgs or rpgs in general they should definitely give this a try because it's one of the best rpgs i've played in a while. If you merged elements from this game and skyrim, dragon age's graphics, skyrim's world design, DA's character/story progression and skyrim's gameplay you've have a perfect game lol
