I've almost already done all the stretch goals. I feel like there needs more things to do. Besides fishing and bug catching for ages, there isn't much to do. There's not enough incentive to keep unlocking and building furniture. I never really was one for decorating much anyway xD
Like they should make an encyclopaedia for bugs and fish so you can work towards getting them all. They have them for furniture under misc..

This may be my first AC game, but it definitely feels like they've missed half the point of the series. As a newbie to AC, it just appears to me that there's more than just one type of fan. This game feels catered only to those who like leveling up friendships and collecting furniture to design the camp.
It would be so easy for them to maybe add one more tab for "Encyclopedia" like you mentioned, and maybe triple the amount of fish/bugs etc in the game, each with their own catch rates. Even if it's just palette changes and not actual new models/art. Maybe make some of those items available only during select parts of the day or week so it gives you more incentive to plan and play.

The fact that you say that speaks volumes. It's good and not good as an entry game into the series. It's good because it gives you a snapshot of what the game is similar to but not good if it puts people off thinking the other games are like this lol The handheld ones are so deep and way more rewarding.
It feels like the Happy Home Academy spin off game they made for 3ds which was entirely about building homes for animals which they would like. They say the palette changes with the seasons but we have like 3 months until spring lol

A lot of mobile games do a lot of updates to add more content. I'm hoping Pocket Camp is the same way. There should definitely be more villagers.

They've added 4 more villagers today with new furniture for each. Also the rate that affection grows has been increased for a few days as well, I think!

But after watching the review it actually seems really good. Are there any plans to make a new animal crossing game soon do you know?

Nope, nintendo have been hushed up about it for a while but new leaf did come out 2012 so it should be announced soon. The ac team was recently working on splatoon 2 and thats been out a few months now, so they should be workong on it. New leaf has TONS of content, its nothing like the mobile game at all. In comparison, ac pc is like 0.5% what new leaf is lol. So much to do, you have encyclopedias for all bugs/fish, you can dive for sea creatures. There's an island to play mini games, you can expand your own house up to 6 rooms including an upstairs and basement, you can put tile patterns down on your town grass so it ends up looking like this: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/66/48/32/66483257fc09989936c7815c245a4a69.jpgYou can unlock and expand shops to be mega malls, befriend tons of animals and do tons of requests for them (much better than ac pc too). And that doesn't even include the yearly events like harvest festival, easter, christmas etc. I'm actually gonna restart my town now!
