The Sapling Bells System

A monetary system has been implemented for this forum. Whenever you post you will earn sapling bells (forum currency) which you can spend in the shop for items.

Your total bells are displayed on your profile page/mini-profile & your bank balance is displayed on your profile page.

To transfer bells to another member, you can either:

1. Click their bells in their mini profile. [edited 18/10/2016] or click 'Send Bell Transfer' in their profile. [edited 24/06/2017]

2. You can also view all transfers by clicking the 'Bell Transfers' link in your inventory in the navigation bar at the top. [edited 12/07/2017]

3. When receiving a transfer, a notification appears at the top right of your window. If you miss this, you can still find your transfers in the 'Bell Transfers' section of your inventory. [edited 12/07/2017]

You can deposit and withdraw money from your bank by clicking on "Bank" in the drop down 'inventory'. The money in your bank earns interest (0.1% a day) [example, if you had 5000 sapling bells in your Bank, you'd earn 5 bells a day from interest.] Interest is added to your ABD.

Wages are ways for you to additional money for being active. You get weekly wages paid into your ABD based off how much you've posted throughout the week. This various depending on your ordinance and group.

Birthday present:

• On your birthday you receive 500 Bells!

As of today, you can now transfer bells by clicking people's bells in their mini profiles!! Finally!

With a plugin update, they've made it so you can also send bells by going to their profile and clicking the 'send bell transfer' button.

I've amended all the bell totals above, bank interest and daily wages. 0.1% interest might not seem like a lot but this is to prevent the money crash disaster we had before where people [including myself] were getting ridiculous amounts in their bank like 50 million Bells.

With the example above, a 5000 ABD account will net you 5 days bells of interest a day. So in a month [30 days] you'd get 150 bells for doing nothing. It takes about 100 posts to get 5000 sapling bells so that's actually a fair amount.

PS: Some aspects I mentioned above such as the drop down menu for the inventory won't be available until the new skin launches.
